I've been playing drums since I was a teenager. While I'm an artist and a journalist, drumming is my home! I love playing punk, experimental, and so many other styles.

 I've been playing and touring with Alice, Dave, and Sharif since 2015 and have recorded on full lengths Sister Dynamite, Blueprint, and her 2016 Self-Titled release. We've done a bunch of awesome singles and comp contributions too! Check out our Xmas song No Gifts for Nazis for your next holiday playlist.

I first met CJ at Transgress Fest 2017 when I was doing sound for QTPI Xpress and we've been inseperable ever since! I started playing with dimber in 2019 and recorded a few songs on "Always Up To You"

We are working on new music and recording new things this summer

When my good friend Jennie Cotterill asked me if I'd like to play in a new band with her I was so excited to hear her new songs and collaborate with her!  Sven and Kyle are both amazing musicians, it's so fun to be a part of this crew.

Josie Wreck is one of my dearest friends and I've had the honor of being a rotating occasional part of her noise WhorChestra since 2021.

Audrey is one of my favorite drummers on earth so it's always an honor to sub for her when she's gone on tour! 

As I've written about, Fatty Cakes and the Puff Pastries are not only one of my favorite bands but also some of my best friends. Their music is incredible, if you haven't listened you need to - STAT! all drums by Audrey ! 

My next show with Fatty Cakes and the Puff Pastries will be at the Lodge Room opening for Batmobile on May 23.

A collaboration between Alice Bag, me, and HIRS, which originally was on the Friends, Lovers, Favorites album was recently used in Mayans on FX! 

what started out as a poem working through some serious stuff became my first lead vocal song, and is now on a TV show

I was a guest on Bad Cop / Bad Cop's 2017 album Warriors on Jennie Cotterill's song Wild Me. Jennie's one of my favorite people and song writers ever so this was a huge honor. I got to perform it with them a handful of times, and it was so awesome because each time it was a little bit different. I also heard that they had other friends and fans do this part on tour, which is so cool to have been a part of creating a space of collaboration!

I am an avid record collector and love to DJ events! I've DJ'd at Vans Channel 66, Chic2Chic, 4th Street Vine, and Razorcake House
